What is the difference between a day of coordinator and a wedding planner?
Day of Coordinator
A day of coordinator, also known as a wedding day coordinator, is a professional responsible for ensuring that the wedding day runs smoothly. Their primary role is to oversee and manage the logistical details of the event, such as coordinating vendors, managing the timeline, and ensuring that everything happens according to plan. You could be in touch with them 1-3 months before the wedding.
Wedding Planner
A wedding planner is a professional who specializes in coordinating and managing all aspects of a couple’s wedding day. They work with them to help plan, organize, and execute their dream wedding, taking care of everything from budgeting, finding the perfect venue, to arranging transportation and catering. You would be in contact with them from the beginning of your planning journey.

I have always loved organizing parties and events for friends, and when it came to my own wedding in 2020 I was in heaven during the planning process. Flash forward to many friends weddings and fitting right into that coordinator role like a missing puzzle piece, that is what brought LYM Events to fruition.
